I have always felt that it is important to share a little bit about myself with my students. This is my 12th year of teaching! This is my third year teaching 3rd grade Science and Social Studies and I really enjoy it. I love teaching here at Crofton!
I earned by bachelor's degree in elementary education from Austin Peay State University, my master's degree in Administrative Education from University of the Cumberlands, and a second master's degree in Special Education from Murray State University.
I was born and raised in northern Christian County and attended public school from fifth grade on up. My family and I own a farm in Crofton and raise registered Kiko goats. I also enjoy camping, horseback riding, hunting, photography, and spending time with my family.
I became a teacher because I truly believe that our children are our future, and I want to do all that I can to affect each child in a positive way. I am not just here to teach my kids, but to be someone that they can trust and confide in. I strive to encourage each of my students to believe in themselves and always do their best.
