SnowSmart Days Information  

Though we have not had an official SnowSmart Day as of yet please make sure your child is reading daily. They can also access all of the programs available to them. They can easily access iRead, Raz-Kids, Moby Max, and many more programs by clicking on links in my Reading Links.

The following is 3 Days of Lesson Plans for students to complete on-line if they are students with internet access. Students without internet access physically have their lesson plans in a folder. Students are not to complete any lessons until they receive an "all call" from the district with instructions during snow days.

 

Day One:

Activity One

Steps:

This activity should take 20-25 mins.

1.       Students will log in to Raz-Kids with their username and id. Teacher id according to homeroom teachers are jridenourb = Ridenour or jridenour2 = Williams. If you do not have access to the internet not a problem. Their work will be in their green folder to complete.

2.       Students will access their “My Assignment” or "Level Up" icon. In this icon they will find the information and literature text books that have been assigned to them according to their own/personal differentiated reading levels.

3.       Students will access one Literature text to listen to 2 or more times.

4.       Students will read the book to their self or a member of their family two or more times.

5.       Students will complete the word work activity sheet they have in their folder for this text.

Activity Two

Steps:

This activity should take 20-25 mins.

1.       Students will log in to Raz-Kids with their username and id. Teacher id according to homeroom teachers are jridenourb = Ridenour or jridenour2 = Williams. If you do not have internet, no problem. Your child will be given a green folder that will have all of the materials they will need to complete the assignment.

2.       Students will access their “My Assignment” or "Level Up" icon. In this icon they will find the information and literature text books that have been assigned to them according to their own/personal differentiated reading levels.

3.       Students will access one Informational text to listen to 2 or more times.

4.       Students will read the book to their self or a member of their family two or more times.

5.       Students will complete the word work activity sheet they have in their folder for this text.
